Sinking pavers, pooling water, empty joints: the problem often comes from what is happening below the surface. We diagnose the real cause, then tell you straight whether re-levelling is enough — or whether part of the foundation needs rebuilding.

Repair, re-level or rebuild?
Partial repair: when the problem is localized and the surrounding base is sound, we lift the affected area, correct the base at that spot and re-lay — reusing your existing pavers when they’re in good shape.
Re-levelling: when the surface has moved more broadly but the base structure is recoverable, we lift the pavers, recharge and re-compact the bedding, and redo the polymeric sand joints.
Partial foundation rebuild: when settling comes back year after year or drainage is the culprit, fixing only the surface won’t last. We tell you before the work — not after. Every estimate spells out exactly what gets reused and what gets rebuilt.
Diagnosis first
Before proposing anything, we look at slope, water behaviour, edge condition and base stability. A few photos are often enough for an initial remote assessment.

What warranty applies to repair work?
The 3-year warranty applies only to complete installations built with a new foundation by Paysagiste Lavande. Repairs, re-levelling and installations over an existing base are not covered: we can’t control how a base we didn’t build will behave. Every estimate states what gets reused and what gets rebuilt.
Can you reuse my existing pavers?
Often, yes — if they’re in good condition they’re lifted, cleaned and re-laid on the corrected bedding. We confirm this during diagnosis.
Why do my pavers keep sinking in the same spot?
Recurring settlement often indicates a problem below the surface: an insufficient base, poorly compacted soil, or water moving where it shouldn’t. Until the cause is fixed, the surface will move again.
