Designing around how you’ll use it
Before materials, we look at how you’ll use the space: a dining zone near the house, a seating corner further out, access to the grill or the pool. Shape, levels and flow follow from that — not the other way around.
Materials, formats and patterns
Interlocking pavers come in a wide range of formats, textures and colours. Contrast bands, a border or a centre pattern can visually structure a large patio. These choices are planned before laying, for a clean result that suits the house.
A base adapted to the site and use
Movement or standing water can be related to the soil, base, slope or drainage. Preparation depth, layer-by-layer compaction and water management are determined according to the actual site conditions.
Integrating with the yard
A good patio connects cleanly to the lawn, plantings, a walkway or a pool surround. Transitions and edge restraints are planned to reduce edge movement and simplify maintenance.
Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between a paver patio and a wood deck?
Interlocking pavers don’t rot and don’t need yearly staining; maintenance is mostly about the joints. Wood offers a different look and a softer surface. The choice depends on use, desired upkeep and how it integrates with the house.
Can an existing paver patio be extended?
Often, yes, if the materials match and the new section gets its own base preparation. We assess the joint and drainage during the visit.
Warranty: The 3-year warranty applies to complete installations built with a new foundation. Repairs, re-levelling and installations over an existing foundation are not covered.
